So here it is at last! My new blog is up and running alongside my new website and I’m VERY excited about how much better they both are than my previous ones!
This blog is infinitely more flexible than the one I had previously. The absolute most important thing about it is that I can upload decent sizes photos at last! I was becoming increasingly frustrated with only being able to display small images. As a photographer, the images are your shop window and if you can’t display them effectively then you’re not doing the hard work, time, effort and passion you put into them any justice at all.
For example (and unfortunately this is the only image I’m going to upload for this post – Emma and I are packing our bags to head off to Devon for our friends wedding, so you’ll have to wait until we’re back next week to see some of the work I’ve been saving for this new blog! But I promise you, it’s worth the wait!) this is a little sneak preview of Katie and Rob’s pre-wedding shoot and I’m sure you’ll agree, it looks great shown off at a decent size!
So bear with me for a few days, there’s loads of great stuff to come, there’s LOADS of different new things I need to figure out with this blog (!) – I think I might be able to import my old blog posts into it, so I’ll be working on how to do that, so all my old posts are still findable!
There’ll DEFINITELY be some shots from our friends wedding (I know! Bit of a busman’s holiday, but I can’t resist taking my camera to the wedding!) and from our stay in Devon and I’ll leave you in suspense as to what else is coming up that I’ve been shooting recently!
