This is Katie and Rob – they’re getting married at a lovely venue called The Ashes near Leek in a couple of weeks time – it will be my first time shooting there and I’m REALLY looking forward to it.
We used the ultra cool Castlefield area of Manchester for the pre-wedding shoot – Katie and Rob wanted to do something urban and in contrast to the venue that they’ll be getting married at. We had a beautiful morning for the shoot (one of the few sunny, warm sunday mornings of this years ‘summer’!) Katie and Rob soon relaxed and dare I say it, even enjoyed themselves!
One of the main reasons I do a pre-wedding shoot with all of my couples, is that it means the couple have had a little bit of experience being photographed before their big day. It helps them to understand that there’s nothing scary about being photographed and that it can be as equally enjoyable as any other part of their day – and why shouldn’t it be?!
