Yesterday was a great day. Jamie is one of my cousin’s (I have many!) and is one of my cousin’s in particular that I’ve always had a great relationship with. He’s proper Rock n Roll, I like to think I am. He’s still rocking the long hair. I wish I was but Emma won’t let me… He plays lead guitar and sings in an awesome band. I used to sit behind a drum kit back in the day… Lot’s in common basically and we’ve always been good mates. So it was a real honour when he asked me to shoot his wedding this coming October. Julie seems to have been around forever (in a good way!) so I feel like I’ve known her for as long as I’ve known Jamie!
They live over in Liverpool and had been thinking about getting married there, but they’re actually getting married at the beautiful Stirk House in Lancashire so wanted to use Liverpool for their pre-wedding shoot instead!
So I met them at the Albert Dock yesterday afternoon for a drink and a catch up before we headed off into the city. (Our round consisted of a pint of San Miguel, a pint of Becks and a pink Woo-Woo. I’m not saying who had what…!!!)
Dutch courage inside them, we wandered around the dock before heading up to Mathew Street and then through Liverpool One…
Julie & Jamie are going to use one of the images from the pre-wedding shoot for their signing mount at the wedding – what more could you want from an image to fit in the frame than there is in this?!?!?
A bit like some people have with clowns, I now have an irrational fear of Justin Bieber after this…
Love this sequence…
Awesome work you guys! Can’t wait for your big day now – it’s going to be properly amazing!!!
