Friday was such a beautiful day up at The Ashes in Staffordshire where Bev & Phil were married. The sun shone, the drinks flowed – it was perfect! Bev & Phil’s wedding was a perfect example of what a small world we live in. It turns out that one of Bev’s bestest mates, Alyssa, was one of my sisters very good school chums back in the day (I also know Alyssa from way back when, so it was lovely to see her and her husband Andy after many years!) Also, Bev chose her amazing Charlotte Balbier ‘Tabitha’ gown from my great friends at The White Closet in West Didsbury. In fact, it was actually Emma that sold Bev the dress!
So I had great fun getting to know Bev and Phil in the build up to their day. We had a great time (fuelled by g&t’s and pints of lager!) shooting their pre-wedding shoot around the Northern Quarter in Manchester and I knew that their wedding day was going to be very special. Full of very personal details and ideas – there was going to be a LOT to shoot!
On with the sneak preview then…!!!
So many beautiful details…
What a beautiful day!
A surprise for the guests – ‘Host a Roast’!
After the wedding breakfast, there was time for a few minutes with Bev & Phil to shoot some gorgeous images of just the two of them…
First dance!
Congratulations guys! It was amazing!
