Catherine and Tom’s Heaton House Farm Wedding Photos are some of my absolute favourite Christmas wedding photographs I’ve ever taken. Such a wonderful atmosphere with it being just a few days before Christmas, and such a wonderful group of friends and family at one of my favourite wedding venues. Just magical.
The photo above of Catherine and her Grandad having a moment together just after Catherine and Tom had walked out of church is my most ‘liked’ photograph on Facebook ever, with over 600 likes and countless comments and shares. I guess it just resonated with people. It was something that they could relate to and overall it just goes to show that wedding photographs should be about capturing that special moment in time, freezing that second between two people and overall should give the bride and groom the opportunity to say: “I remember that moment, I remember what I said and what was said to me” – that is the true definition of documentary wedding photography.
After the ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Nether Alderley (the most beautiful church you could ever see!) we all convoyed up the road to Heaton House Farm for Catherine and Tom’s wedding reception. The venue was a winter wonderland! So beautifully decorated and as always, the Heaton House Farm staff were on hand to look after all the guests (and me! Thanks Charl!) and nothing was too much trouble
The party was awesome, top wedding band The Live Wires were fully Christmas jumpered up and the dancefloor was packed from minute one!
Catherine and Tom’s Heaton House Farm Wedding was my very last wedding before Christmas and what a perfect wedding to end on before Santa visited! I had an absolute blast, we got lucky with the weather, everything was just perfect!
So enjoy the full story of Catherine and Tom’s day below – and for those of you counting…just 18 more Friday’s ’till Christmas!!!
Congratulations again Catherine and Tom! It was an absolute pleasure taking your Heaton House Farm wedding photos xxx
