Another stunning winter wedding hits the blog! This is Kate and Rich’s beautiful winter wonderland wedding at Eaves Hall in Lancashire earlier this year. Kate and Rich were lucky enough to get that perfect winter weather that every winter bride and groom dream of and very rarely happens! A cold, crisp, sunny day with a dusting of snow that made no impact on the roads whatsoever but helped to make the photographs and overall atmosphere just perfect.
Personally I’m a big fan of winter weddings in Lancashire – I got married in that neck of the woods in the winter time and it really is a beautiful part of the world. And as for specifically taking Eaves Hall Wedding Photos – I bloody love it! What an incredible venue (quite possibly the perfect winter wedding venue if such a thing were to exist!) It is so flexible, the venue is exclusively the bride and groom’s for the day and night. It feels like one massive house party! From a photography point of view, it’s as beautiful inside as it is outside, so the times that weather isn’t being kind to you, you still have plenty of opportunity to shoot beautiful wedding photos.
It’s always fun working with other people you know at weddings and at Kate and Rich’s wedding I got to work with my lovely friend Paisley Gamble Hair Stylist and top wedding party band, Groovy Revolution. And that’s without mentioning the amazing Eaves Hall team – big thanks to Barry, Hailey, Lucy, Clare and all the team for being a pleasure to work with and of course for looking after me as always (honestly, you get treated like one of the guests at Eaves Hall – such a great team!)
