Where to start?! Heather and Craig are the loveliest, fun couple you could ever wish to meet. So caring, so interested in other people and what they do – what a pleasure to spend time with them. When they asked me to be their Didsbury House Wedding Photographer I was delighted. When I first met them, I fell in love with what lovely people they are, so I really had my fingers crossed that they would want to book me to shoot their wedding!
Didsbury House Hotel is the most stunning venue, a Victorian villa in Didsbury that becomes your home for your wedding. It’s a proper house party kind of venue and people feel like they can truly relax there. The decor is beautiful and the staff are great to work with – it’s a dream venue really!
I was lucky enough to work with some wonderful industry friends at Heather and Craig’s wedding too – the team from The Flower Lounge, Gypsies of Bohemia and Danielle Horan Hair & Make-up Artist 
One of my favourite things about Heather & Craig’s wedding, was that they weren’t afraid to do things to suit them and how they wanted the day to be. Starting with the fact that as soon as they were married, we all walked straight out of Didsbury House and down the road to the pub for an hour! We came back and then canape’s and fizz were served. Then the first two speeches were outside on the terrace, with the best man’s being held back until after the wedding breakfast. Just little things that meant the day really ran to suit their aspirations. They wanted it to feel relaxed, they wanted their friends and family to feel that it wasn’t ‘just another wedding’ – that it was THEIR wedding and they were going to do things in the best way for them. I love stuff like that. It makes it feel truly personal and that Heather and Craig had really stamped their personalities onto the day.
