To call this wedding epic would actually be downplaying it. I don’t actually think there is a superlative appropriate to describe just how epic Luisa & Peter’s Colshaw Hall wedding actually was!
I’ve said this over and over on Facebook when I’ve tagged them in sneak previews, I’ve said it to Luisa & Pete when I’ve emailed them, so I feel a bit like a stuck record at the moment, but I can’t actually describe how much fun I had working with this amazing couple. They are such lovely, fun, slightly bonkers (I’m looking at you, Lu!) people that you can’t help be happy when you’re around them.
Their wedding was spectacular, they had thought of everything, they had planned everything to perfection (I think this is where I should actually credit Luisa’s gorgeous Mum, Elaine, for her hard work, attention to detail and general wedding planner geniusness!) and it was just bloody brilliant.
I arrived in the morning to meet Pete and the boys as they were getting ready/having a couple of beers at Colshaw Hall, before I headed over to meet Luisa & the girls in Alderley Edge. Which is when it went seriously crazy and never seemed to dip below that level of excitement all day!
I LOVE shooting weddings at Colshaw Hall, it’s a stunning venue, run by an amazing, tireless team of top wedding professionals and it’s genuinely a lovely place to work. I must say at this point, huge thanks to David, Georgie, Shelley, Julie, Ian and all the team at Colshaw Hall for all their help on the day, which helped me to produce what I have done for this wonderful couple.
I was very excited overall to shoot Luisa & Pete’s wedding, but as the #Dreamteam assembled over the months in the build up to the wedding, I got even more excited to be involved – Luisa & Pete had booked some of the very best wedding suppliers in the country to be involved in their wedding – some of which I’m lucky enough to call very, very good friends (none more-so than my own actual wife, Emma!) so I just knew that this wedding was going to be unreal

LOVE Bridal Boutique, Stewart Parvin, Red Floral Architecture, Silk Wedding Films, Andy Murphy DJ, The Rush, Sam Fitton, Barretts Caterers (apologies if I’ve missed anyone off! I’m very excited as I reminisce about this wedding and can’t think straight!)
