I was so excited to get my first Colshaw Hall wedding under my belt earlier this year – I’d been looking forward to shooting a wedding there since they opened a couple of years ago and I’d heard a lot of very good things about the venue. I was definitely not disappointed!
This was a bit of a last minute wedding for me – most of the time I’m taking bookings around 12-18 months in advance of a wedding, but late January I received an email from Emma of Emma Jane Wedding and Event Management, to see if I was available for Lena & Richard’s Colshaw Hall wedding in less than two months time!
Officially, I was fully booked already for this year (I limit my bookings to 40 weddings a year, to ensure that I can always provide top quality service and don’t get swamped with shoots, editing, meetings, etc.) but I had the date available and these guys were running out of time to find someone! We had a good chat on the phone all about what was important to them as a bride and groom, how they wanted to work things and what kind of Colshaw Hall Wedding Photos they wanted!
The next thing, I found myself in London to meet Lena & Richard for their pre-wedding shoot at Borough Market which was VERY cool. Great location and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we shot some seriously cool photos!
Countdown to the big day was well and truly on and I was looking forward to working with some good supplier friends and meeting some new ones too! Barrett’s Events Caterers were looking after all things food, Sara & Tony from Marry Me Films were shooting the wedding film, Country Flowers Florist in Knutsford supplied the stunning flowers and Under The Covers had the place jumping at night!
I must say a massive thank you to Georgie, Shelley and all the team at Colshaw Hall for making me feel so welcome and for all of their help on the day too
