I don’t know if there are cooler words to come out of a brides mouth than ‘we want our wedding to be different’ and she actually means it! Katherine and Spencer DEFINITELY meant it. Originally, their plan was to get married in complete secret and ring their family to join them for a celebratory meal afterwards, with me having been the sole witness in church (and photographer obviously!)
The priest actually convinced them to ‘upgrade’ (!) their family and a small group of friends to come and witness their wedding which was even more perfect! I met Katherine & Spencer at their house in the morning, where their friends and family gathered as they got ready and then I walked with Katherine and Spencer from their house to church (which was the normal Sunday morning church service – old skool stylee!) where they were married! Yey! I’ll explain how the rest of the day went as we go through the photos, but to start us off, we’re at Katherine and Spencer’s…
We then walked from church to the pub for a little ‘loosener’…!!!
We left Katherine & Spencer’s friends and family in the pub with instructions to meet us at The Marble Arch in Manchester at 3pm – in the meantime, we were to tour round some of Katherine & Spencer’s favourite haunts in Manchester, to give them some time together, a few cheeky drinkies and some amazing photographs. I LOVE these photos….
