Carla and Ian. What can I say? What a day! I LOVE shooting weddings at Styal Lodge – it’s the most amazing venue, purpose built, family owned and run, and it’s just a bloody lovely place to work!
Carla and Ian were a RIOT from the minute I met them – one of those couples that you want to become best mates with, go out drinking and partying with, you know the ones 
Styal Lodge Wedding Photographs are always an absolute pleasure to take – it’s one of the best wedding venues in Cheshire, the North West – to be honest, one of the best wedding venues in the country in my humble opinion. Everything is perfectly finished, nothing has been overlooked and they just seem to have a knack of attracting the most wonderful brides and grooms – like Carla & Ian!
I mention regularly about how lucky I am to work with people I know on a regular basis and Carla and Ian’s Styal Lodge Wedding was no exception. It was great fun working with my friends at Top Table Catering, The Flower Lounge, Special Days Events and Venue Dressing, Gemma Hallowell MUA and The Midnight Cats – what a team!
I started out the day meeting Ian and the boys at Albert’s in Didsbury for a cheeky beer (and a cheeky shot of sambuca too! – Ian, not me!!!) before heading over to Styal Lodge where Carla and the girls were getting ready. The full day was at the lodge, so once I was there, I could really just concentrate on shooting the day unfold. Ian arrived not long after and then the coach load of guests – just as the rain stopped and the skies cleared! And the weather stayed like that all day!
