Snow? In Manchester? Don’t be silly…

Happy New Year one and all! And if anyone had told me my first blog post of 2010 would be about the snow in Manchester I’d never have believed them…

A images few from today’s jaunt into the city centre (because there’s been nothing on the news about it…)

Heading off down our road…004

This car park is usually full by 8:30am – this was 10am! You could have built the best snowman ever on here!!!

I had a little wander through Castlefield…

Incredible stuff and really a day for sledging rather than walking VERY slowly through Manchester with a camera in your hand!

Hope this quite unbelievable weather isn’t causing you too many problems, I’m hoping it clears quite soon as I’ve been commissioned to shoot some landscape and architecture projects that aren’t supposed to feature a winter wonderland!

Keep your eye out for some of the highlights from that shoot coming soon on the blog as well as my 2010 wedding season getting well and truly underway in the next few weeks – I’m shooting Steph and James’s pre-wedding shoot in a couple of weeks (which could be interesting if the snow is still hanging around!) so really looking forward to sharing some of the highlights from that shoot with you.
