This Masterclass had been specifically designed for those wedding photographers who are considering adding pre-wedding or engagement shoots to their packages and those who already offer them but are ready to take that part of their business to the next level.
Working with a real life couple (not models!) Jonny will take you through exactly how he works with his brides and grooms at their pre-wedding shoot. Not only will he demonstrate how he breaks the ice with the couple and gets them to relax as quickly as possible, he will show you the kind of locations he uses and why they are perfect for pre-wedding shoots in any conditions. Jonny will demonstrate a number of different techniques, including natural light, off camera flash and video light which will open your eyes to the endless possibilities in front of you at these kinds of shoot.
This is a wedding photography workshop in a discipline that is so often overlooked, rushed and skimmed over, yet it can transform your business if done in the right way…an essential shooting experience for all wedding photographers wanting to deliver something unique to all of their clients.
The Masterclass will run from 12pm until 7pm and will be an intense shooting and learning experience with no breaks at all – so have an early lunch! But don’t worry – when the shooting wraps up, we’ll be heading to the pub for a continued chat about all things wedding photography and business. And Jonny will even get the first round in!
The images you see in this blog post were from a version of this workshop last winter time, so it ran into darkness – we’ll be finishing up before it goes dark on this occasion, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for stunning light at ‘golden hour’!!! (And if it rains we’ll do something cool with off camera flash and umbrellas instead!)
