Thursday was a VERY exciting day… It was Selina & Mike’s wedding (AMAZING couple!) AND it was my first time photographing a wedding at the gorgeous Heaton House Farm in Rushton Spencer – I couldn’t wait! I’ve been lucky enough to get to know the Heath family who own Heaton House Farm over the last couple of months in the run up to Selina & Mike’s big day, so when I arrived on Thursday morning I felt like I was arriving at a venue I’d worked at loads of times before!
So here we go, a sneak preview of some of my favourite’s from Selina & Mike’s Heaton House Farm Wedding!
Always good to be prepared, but we didn’t need them!
Selina & Mike’s purple theme ran throughout the day – even adorning the boars in the entrance!
Guests milled in the courtyard as they arrived to take advantage of the amazing February weather!
Showtime!
The ceremony was amazing, beautifully emotional…
Hahaha! As best man Joe brought the rings forward, Mike swapped him a used tissue!!! Much to everyone’s amusement!
Time for some really cool images before the wedding breakfast…
Steele’s Barn looked stunning all set up for the wedding breakfast…
In between courses Selina & Mike sneaked out to grab an amazing sunset moment…
Speech time!
More beautiful emotion…
And more comedy gold!!!
After the speeches Selina & Mike had provided sparklers for all their guests!
The first dance – gorgeous!
So there we have it – my first wedding at Heaton House Farm. And what a wedding it was. Massive thanks to Catherine for looking after me so well on the day and for all her help with lighting (!)
Congratulations again Sel & Mike – have an amazing honeymoon in Australia and I can’t wait to catch up with you when you’re back!
