This is the absolutely lovely, hilarious, gorgeous, wonderful couple; Chrissie and Dave (can you tell I like them?!?!)
They got married a few weeks ago up in the North East, at the same church in Durham where Chrissie’s parents were married and they then held their reception at the magnificent Beamish Hall.
I’ve had such a great time with these guys throughout the entire build up to their wedding, from the pre-wedding shoot to the day itself, it was a genuine pleasure to shoot their day and I’m delighted (as I hope they are!) with the shots from the their day. Here are a few of my favourites:
After the ceremony and before heading to Beamish Hall, Chrissie and Dave wanted to get some shots on the bridge down the road with the castle in the background. I love working with couples who have a real passion for the photography on their day and who have ideas of their own about what they want.
It’s great to just wander down the street shooting as you go – there’s something really special when complete strangers are offering their congratulations to a couple as they walk past!
The weather was gorgeous – perfect for Pimms!
After the wedding breakfast and speeches, we had a little wander round the grounds of Beamish Hall and got some great shots of Chrissie and Dave.
The first dance really was a sight to behold! It had everything! Comedy, tears, laughter, love, passion – everybody should do a first dance like this!
Congratulations once again guys, it was fantastic working with you and thanks for choosing me to shoot your wedding!
