I love winter weddings! And tomorrow is extra special because it’s at one of my all time favourite venues – The Inn at Whitewell where Emma and I got married just over three years ago!
Cat & Pete get married there tomorrow in what is going to be an actual fairytale, wintery, Christmassy extravaganza of a celebration! I can’t wait! So to try and calm myself down from all the excitement, I’m posting my faves from their pre-wedding shoot a few weeks back. Normally I wouldn’t do a pre-wedding shoot at the venue where the couple are getting married as I don’t want it to feel like a ‘practice run’ of the photography before the day. The pre-wedding shoot is all about the pre-wedding shoot! BUT, Cat & Pete were really keen to do it there as they know realistically there’s not much chance of us being able to use some of the Inn’s most beautiful surroundings in late December, in wedding regalia! Stepping stones don’t mix very well with snow and ice sadly… So we met up there and shot some beautiful images of the two of them in the glorious Trough of Bowland. And then we had lunch. Fish and chips. Awesome.
Soooooooooo excited about tomorrow guys! Can’t wait to see you there!
