Wow. What a year 2016 was! I’ve shot some incredible weddings, worked with incredible brides and grooms and I’ve had an absolute blast! It’s become tradition for me to do a round up of each year on my blog, so here’s this years: 2016, a year in wedding photographs.
This is very much a personal blog post, made up of images that I love from each wedding I’ve shot. I have to be really ruthless with myself when I do this, as I could easily have 50-odd images from each wedding feature, but it would end up being the world’s longest blog post and wouldn’t even load!
I challenge myself to pick just one image from each wedding. One that reminds me of a particular moment, a particular feeling, a particular emotion. I may, or may not have stuck rigidly to that challenge….
So without further ado, in no particular order (and saving all my thank you’s for the end of the blog post!) here’s some of my favourite images I shot at weddings through the course of 2016.
Some epic, some powerful, some emotional, some funny – but every single one shot with love, care, attention to detail and adrenaline coursing through my veins.

I’ve been lucky enough to work at some incredible venues, with some incredible suppliers, far too many to list, but I must say one or two direct thank you’s before I sign off:
Emma Draper. My wife. My harshest yet fairest critic and motivator. I couldn’t do any of this without your help, love support and guidance. And she still finds time to smash it at LOVE Bridal Boutique too! 😉
